Tumbling Workshops

From tots learning the basics of balancing and swinging, to elite athletes performing perfect 10s, the Gymnastics Center at the Prince George's Sports & Learning Complex has the space, equipment, and staff for all gymnastics enthusiasts.

Safety First
The venue's design makes the sport of gymnastics safe and fun. The unique pit system allows a safe landing for beginners, with a resi-pit and loose foam pit to take the fear out of falling. The special child-sized equipment is lower to the ground and has slightly different proportions to give even the smallest a great leap into this popular sport. For more advanced athletes, the AAI brand equipment for men and women's events is top of the line. The two full exercise floors allow for simultaneous events during competitions. In addition to permanent seating for 1,000 spectators, there are floor seats as well as an unobstructed observation deck, which may be used for video taping.

Equipment List
The Prince George's Sports & Learning Complex has a complete set of mens and women's competition-grade equipment including: balance beams, vault tables and pommel horses, uneven parallel bars, trampolines, high bars, parallel bars, rings, and two complete sets of floor exercise equipment.

Instructors
