The Outdoor Track with Football/Soccer Field
The lighted, 400-meter, 8-lane track at the Prince George's Sports & Learning Complex is destined to be a community favorite for track and field events, football and soccer games, and spectator events. The track is also a great place to meet friends for an evening jog or some serious racing.

Designed for Versatility
With a top-of-the-line poured rubber surface, the track can be used for fitness, practice, and competition. The inside jogging lane allows several groups to use the area at the same time. Four locations for pole vault and long jump allow flexibility for several events to run at the same time, or event placement when wind is a factor. Other areas are designed for discus, shot put, steeple chase, javelin, hammer throw, and high jump.

The track is ideal for competition at all levels, up to national and international track and field events. The full service scoring system is camera based and displays finishing time, place, and score. It also has registration capabilities and is perfect to decide a photo finish. Spectator seating fits 5,500 people with a great view from every seat.

Football/Soccer/Outdoor Events
Adjacent to the track is a three-acre grass area that serves as a staging area for athletes, an additional playing field, or as an outdoor event venue.

Programs and Services
Local youth clubs, high schools, and colleges are invited to contact us to schedule regular practices at the track. Consultants from the Prince George's Sports & Learning Complex are available to help manage meets and run the scoring system. Meet officials are the responsibility of the team's or club's meet managers. Youth track and field programs and track camps are planned to improve young people's skills in this popular sport.
